Process priority issue

I have just installed fresh opensuse 11.4 and can't change policies for running proccesses:

chrt -p 99 2669 (by root)
chrt: failed to set pid 2669's policy: Operation not permitted

Default 2.6.37.1-1.2-desktop kernel with 1000HZ.

What could be the problem ?[/u]

are you sure you ran the command as root? if yes, make sure you have no additional security system like SELinux activated (which will be counter-productive for game servers anyway)
