Password on server no secure

i want that my server has a password, he's no secure, it's possible ?

Not quite sure what you mean?
To set a server password, put this in your server.cfg:

Code:

sv_password "password"

They should use that one too. Just with your external IP

Well why cant they just enter the password when they join the server?

If they can, but i prefer put sv_password "mypassword" but it's not working

Yes do that.

And then give them the password. When they connect to your server through Steam they will be prompted with a box asking for the password. If it successfully authenticates the user - the loading screen will then begin. Else an error is displayed.

So your the password you've set in the server.cfg doesn't work when they connect? If so, make sure there are no other sv_password commands around.
