[resolved] people cant connect to my "source multiplayer dedicated server"

I've used the tool "Source Multiplayer Dedicated Server" in Steam.
I've created a Counter-Strike Source [/font]server but the problem is that my friends cannot connect to it.
I used my internal ip : 192.168.1.2:27015 and i was connected
And i gave external ip to my friends : 117.2**.**.***:27015
(Got to know my external ip through "www.whatismyip.com"
They couldn't connect ...even after typin "connect <external ip>:27015" in console....It says "Connection failed after 4 retries" or "Server not responding"

Anybody Plzzz help me :/ I'm really willing to have a good game with my friends.

What model is your router? And what is your network setup?

i used telnet through cmd and opened my ports! It's working now..Anyways thanx man!
