SRCDS - Couldn't allocate any hltv IP port.
#1
Hi, me and a friend was setting up a CSS Server, and it worked fine the first time we started it. Then we edited servername, roundtime and some other stuff in the server.cfg... The next time we start it, it says: Couldn't allocate any HLTV port., So i make some changes to the router, and the firewall allowing port 27020. This fix's the problem.

Now we shutdown the server, add a join-server sound. And when we start it now it says: "Couldn't allocate any hltv IP port."

And honestly i got no idea what ports to forward, or what it is. I don't even think we have HLTV / SOURCE TV on the server....

So to fix this i tryed to add the parameter -tv_port 27020. Into the startup-line... Then it would say. File missing: hl2/gameinfo.txt... So we copied the one from cstrike/cfg into hl2/gameinfo.txt ... But then the server has a all diferent name when it's launched. And it won't appear on the master-server list. (In-game when selecting a server)
[EDIT]: Fixed.
[EDIT2]: Now it does it again, as soon as we edit anything it pop ups with it.

Add +tv_port 27050 to the startup line.

[EDIT3]: Running the shortcut as Administrator worked, now it just pops up with some .dll errors, but doesn't seem like it's a problem. Server's working fine. Thanks for the response tho.-- If somebody could we'd actually like to have Source TV atm it's not on.

These DLL errors (tier0 right?) can be ignored. Smile
