tf2 server not showing up in master list

Try closing Steam and then wait 2minutes, then start the server agian.

oh, sorry i got caught up looking around on google and searching the forums wasn't on my mind. I tried closing it and starting it again but i still got the same error and only im able to connect to it and only on lan. Thanks for you help btw. Also, i don't even know what to search o.o

Well the error itself isn't critical, it's just annoying. So you can ignore it

Still, noone can connect to it. I guess thats a different issue but yeah. It doesnt show up in the internet list for my friends, and when they try to connect using my ip they time out after 4 retries. here my start line: "C:\Team Fortress 2 Server\orangebox\srcds.exe" -autoupdate -console -game tf +maxplayers 20 -tickrate 100 +map ctf_2fort -port 27015 +ip 192.168.1.172 im using a srcds.exe shortcut on the desktop to start the server, thats how i did it with my CSS server.

yeah, sorry for the late response, my friend stole my computer from me for a long time. Yeah thats the one i gave them, but shouldnt the server also be in the list? and thanks for splitting it, i thought about making a new one XD

Did you open your ports?
