Port Problems.
#1
Figured i'd post it on this website since it seems like the best place.

I have no problems with my servers from 27015 to 27019 but when i put up my server that has the port 27020, it goes to 27025 instead of 27020. It annoys the hell out of me and i double checked everything and i can't find the problem.

Code:
C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\server6\orangebox\srcds.exe -game tf -console -ip XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX -port 27020 +maxplayers 24 +exec server.cfg +map pl_badwater

Any ideas?

Have a good day,
-DJ

There might be another application running on port 27020 to 27024. SRCDS also binds a client port.

Go to CMD and type in netstat -a then check if there is anything on ports within that range.

6 SRCDS servers running. 27015-27019 but then it just jumps to 27025. There is a UDP port with 27025 and 27020 running it says as well but i think that those are either open ports or something.

No if they are being printed in that list, then it's because another program is using that port. Smile

What are the exact ports of your server(s)?
e.g.
server 1 = 27015....
server 2 = 27016...

27015
27016
27017
27018
27019
27020
27021
27022
27023

All my server ports.
Servers go in order as i set them.
Is there a DNS i can clean or something? Probably need to clean up useless cache files or something.

Are you using a SourceTV?

Disabled all sources of sourceTV and still does it but i figured out something about it. I started the 27020 without any of my other servers on and it was at 27020 like it should be. I tested it more by putting the 27015 server online and it bumped up to 27021 when i started it after.

Yeh. Change the SourceTV port for server 27015. Smile

Code:
tv_port 27500 // Get it completely out of range

That worked, thanks. Figured it would have something to do with the TV servers. >Toungue
