That still does not explain why other servers that use the same plugins do not have this problem. Another is faithful copies of this and still not have the problem.
Besides, I do not use anything that no longer wore a few years.
Sure, some mod's and plugins have been updated by necessity, but this problem started suddenly. It was not something that started after an update.

I'm currently using:

Metamod:Source 1.8.5
[01] SourceMod (1.3.7-dev) by AlliedModders LLC
[02] Stripper (1.2.1) by BAILOPAN
[03] CS:S Tools (1.3.7-dev) by AlliedModders LLC
[04] BinTools (1.3.7-dev) by AlliedModders LLC
[05] SDK Hooks (1.3.0-REDUCKS) by Tsunami,psychonic
[06] SDK Tools (1.3.7-dev) by AlliedModders LLC

I tested other versions of SourceMod (recent and older) but, the problem still remains.

Do not use Eventscript
Do not use plugin mani_admin

Anyway, I'll try without plugins soon as possible.

But my main doubt remains.
This is some protection from kernel or attack ?
That is the question

apparently, the copy is not 100% identical, else there wouldn't be that problem. right? just try it out!

there are 3 possibilities: plugins, system or attack. exclude them one by one. even considering your statements, the probability for a faulty plugin is still very very high, and the tests are very simple compared to the other stuff. so try that. you will not hear anything different from me, before you excluded plugins by disabling them and still reproducing the crashes.

I checked the logs from the kernel and now it cleared things up

Anyway still dont know if this play is an attack or problem in srcds.

At least I can already rule out that problem is with plugin

This was precisely the hours that the server crashed today

Quote:Feb 22 18:43:45 localhost kernel: UDP: short packet: From 93.241.69.188:1 0/105 to xxx.x.xxx.xxx:0
Feb 23 02:13:49 localhost kernel: UDP: short packet: From 189.73.248.50:310 0/105 to xxx.x.xxx.xxx:0

Being the "xxx" the ip of my server

This last cron script running on the server managed to climb again

Sorry my bad english!

Thanks!

I have those messages all the time, and no server is crashing. they are not linked to your problems!
