Ok so i had srcds on my old computer but i lost it. Anyway im installing it again and i get stuck on step 2 of the tutorial ( http://www.srcds.com/db/engine.php?subaction=showfull&id=1097362093&archive= ). I type that in and all that comes up is:
Checking bootstrapper version ...
No installation record found at C:\srcds/orangebox
No installation record found at C:\srcds
No installation record found at C:\srcds
Iv tried getting to cmd by run > cmd and also searching it in the start menu option (running as admin).
So i have no idea whats wrong and if anyone does then please let me know.
BASIC INFO
Server OS: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
Processor: Intel i7-950 @ 3.06 GHz. 4 Cores with hyperthreading.
Ram: 6GB ddr3 1600mhz
Game(s): Counter strike source
Start Up Command: hldsupdatetool -command update -game "Counter-Strike Source" -dir C:\srcds <-- only using that because I cant even get to the start up stage !
