Can't start srcds.com
#1
Server OS: Windows XP
Processor: AMD 1.4 Single Core
Ram: 1 GB
Game(s): tf2
Admin Mods: none

I am trying to setup a server for tf2, and when I try to start SRCDS.exe it won't start. I am using a bat file for it and here is the code:

c:\HLserver\orangebox\srcds.exe -console -game tf -hostport 35355 +maxplayers 24 +map ctf_2fort

I am wondering if I need to configure some other files or add some more files? I don't know really, this is my first time doing this.

What model is your processor? This once again sounds like a processor that doesn't support SSE2...

Not sure if that old processor is going to work for you.

Just spent 3 days on that problem, you'll need a processor that will support SSE for Windows and SEE2 for Linux. Not sure how to check it in windows except if you try to start the server and the hour glass start for a second and then stops thats what mine was doing.

Even if that processor will work, you wont get more then about 4 slots before it gets hosed.

Please do not PM me for server related help
