SRCDS Steam group


[ RESOLVED ] Server is only LAN, no WAN Info posted below

BASIC INFO
Server OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 32 Bit
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz
Ram: 1.5 GB
Game(s): Garrys Mod
Start Up Command: "C:\srcds\srcds.exe -console -game garrysmod +map gm_construct +maxplayers 5" [in a shortcut.]

Admin Mods: NONE

INSTALLING INFO
Did the following:
Now go back to your hldsupdatetool you originally downloaded. Right click it and click 'Create Shortcut'. Now right click the shortcut file you just created, click 'Properties'. In the 'Target' box, enter the following command after the location, *leave a space between the location and the command*. This will update your server when it needs updating.

Its located in the "orangebox" folder.

Hi,
I've the same error 'The procedure entry point PLAT [...]' when I'm lauching the server and when Steam is running.
If I close Steam, no error.

Right-on, thanks. That did stop the errors.

Now my Lan issue still remains. I'm even dmz'd...

I think it's because the router can't figure out your configuration.

On the right hand, you have made a rule that forwards the ports from 27000 to 27016 (which in my opinion is unnecessary).
On the left hand, you have also made a rule that only forwards the 27015 port. (which in my opinion is the right thing to do).

The router possibly goes crazy because you have "duplicate rules" (if you know what i mean).

And an addition to that is that he has DMZ too, which might confuse your router. I'd recommend you to disable the manual forwarding and just go with the DMZ in the first go. If it works you can consider yourself good to go and make the range forwards, without DMZ. - to compromize your security Smile
