What happened to sv_steamgroup in l4d2?

Before the new DLC was released at the beginning of October, my server showed up on the menu screen of Left 4 Dead 2 (friends on the left, group servers on the right). I had set sv_steamgroup to the numeric id of a group I manage. Then they changed something and now it no longer works (on a related note, I actually had to reinstall the whole server from scratch, because after the update it would no longer start). If I click on Campaign -> Steam group server, it says none are found. The only way I can connect is to press ~ and type "connect 192.168.0.15".

OS: Ubuntu 9.10 32-bit
CPU: Intel Core Duo 1.8GHz (dual core, no HT)
RAM: 2GB
Mods: None (fresh install)
