[Resolved] Nobody can join my tf2 srcds server?
#1
Hi i have just made my own tf2 dedicated server with srcds.I even installed sourcemod in it.But im the only one who can join it.When my friends try to join it says server does not respond.I even port forwarded.I did
external ip start /external ip end
27000 / 27020
internal ip start/internal ip end
27000 27020

TCP/UDP

I also made a dyndns host for the server ip.

What do you advice for me to do.
I can remove my new port i you want.
I closed the firewall too.
When i launch srcds it perfectly opens the server. And it writes that IP is 192.168.1.3 and ports 27015 SV / 27005 CL

Quote:If your game server is hosted on the same network as your computer you CANNOT connect to it using your external IP. You will need to use your internal IP address to connect. ( 192.168.x.x )
If your port forwarding is correct the OTHER users OUTSIDE your network should be able to connect using your top secret public IP.

People should connect using the following IP:
What's my ip address, create your own visitors IP image

The IP in the image is your external IP, in which your friends connect to to join your server. 192.168 IP is internal, and only available by you.

The ports for TF2 are 27015 UDP/TCP, with 27020 UDP/TCP for SourceTV.

Wait, are you trying to make it so your friends can't join, or making it so they can join? The fact that there was people in your server means it is connectable. Just send friends to this IP to connect:

What's my ip address, create your own visitors IP image

Assuming that your Internal and External IP are correct, Yes.
