Hi everyone.
I've run several game servers for a long time, and I recall being able to run Zombie Master (1.2.1) with SRCDS as well.
I abandoned it awhile ago, but then some friends and I picked it up again yesterday.
So first, I copy the zombie_master directory into my main srcds folder, with a post-directory structure like this: C:\srcds\zombie_master, with srcds.exe being in C:\srcds. That is supposedly the non-orangebox engine server.
Upon attemtping to run the executable, be it in GUI mode or console mode, I am given a dialog error:
I attempted to remedy that error by hldsupdatetool'ing hl2mp with -verify_all -retry -dir c:\srcds, although that did not fix it.
So I moved the zombie_master directory one directory down, into the orangebox folder, apparently with its own srcds executable. That executable has almost never failed me, even running some of the most... "shakiest" mods.
However, upon attempting to run zombie_master with the startup command -console -game zombie_master +maxplayers 16 +sv_lan 0 +map zm_docksofthedead, the following things occur:
This occurs everytime, whenever I try to run the orangebox srcds in console mode for zombie_master.
In GUI mode, zombie master just doesn't show up as an option.
I am running Windows XP Home with SP3. If any other information is needed, (although I would think as not being pertinent to the current issue), please ask for it.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Quote:Failed to load the launcher DLL:
The specified procedure could not be found.
- SRCDS opens, then closes right away, with the following output:
Code:
Console initialized.
Missing shutdown function for COM_InitFilesystem( info.m_pInitialMod) : COM_ShutdownFileSystem() - The event logger catches two events, occuring in the exact same second:
Quote:Application popup: srcds.exe - Entry Point Not Found : The procedure entry point Q_strncasecmp could not be located in the dynamic link library vstdlib.dll.
and
Quote:Application popup: srcds.exe - Entry Point Not Found : The procedure entry point GetCVarIF could not be located in the dynamic link library vstdlib.dll.
- A (very unhelpful) crash dump file is created next to the srcds executable (See attached).
