Bot Custom Names

I downloaded a bot.db file and edited the names for use on my dedicated server. The directions on the file were to:

"Just open botprofile.db file with notepad and make any names changes you like......
Then place the file into your servers

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<your account>\counter-strike source\cstrike folder

that's it....."

I did just that--restarted the server, and ... nothing, same default bot names. Here is the bot file--I only changed the "easy" setting names as a test (at the end of the bot profile) and I did set the bot dificulty to easy on the server to test the name changes. Can someone check it out and see if it looks okay--or is the botprofile.db file location incorrect as given in the directions (in other words will this work in a dedicated server)? well for one.. unless your running a listen server.. not a dedicated.. you would need a different file path.. if your starting the server through steam, the file path should be something like..
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<your account>\source dedicated server\cstrike folder

and i have heard of people making there server no longer work by editing that file, so make sure you back it up first. cuz there is one already there.

That's exactly what I found confusing. I wanted to edit the existing file where the names now com from, and I looked in the dedicated server folder structure and could not find the botprofile.db file (would it be called something else?). This is why I donwloaded a new one--initially I figured editing the one in there would be easier (after backing it up--as you suggested).

there shold be one there in the source dedicated server folder.. well nevermind. i just lookd on my computer (which i don't normally run a server off of, but have it installed) and its not there, so the steam install must not use it. so if you did want to use it, you would probly have to install the stand alone version. useing the hldsupdatetool. theres a tutorial on this site on how to do that if you wish.
