bandwidth rates and server logging

Can someone please explain to me what these commands are used for/how to use them?

host_framerate
sv_maxunlag
sv_unlag
mp_logdetail
sv_logecho
sv_logfile

all of the log ones.. just modify how the server logs events in the log file.. and thats only if server logging is on.

the unlag ones, you can just leave at default, there for lag compensation, but from what i have heard, there best to leave standard, they are one thing i have yet to have time to fool with. host_framerate, i dont know.

i know that setting host_framerate to anything other than "0" on a linux box produces some extremely strange results

it makes the server get a strange lag, like every second everything stops for a splitsecond and then goes again, when you toss a grenade it jerks through the air like the server is only running at 2 fps, even though its not, try it, its very strange, i was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what the heck was wrong with my server

and your running a linux server?, odd if i set host_framerate in the config on my gentoo linux server, it does incredibly strange things.
