valve alien swarm add bots to dedicated server

Hi

I want to add bots to a dedicated LAN server of alien swarm.

The command according to many websites is : cl_selectm (marinenum) (slot)

When i type the command into the console of the dedicated server, I get the error : Unknown command "cl_selectm"

Any ideas what im doing wrong?

Got it working.

you create a game with the dedicated server. if you try to type cl_selectm in the dedicated servers console it will show unknown command.

connect with client to the dedicated server, and in the LOBBY, goto the console ~ and type cl_selectm 3 2.
and so forth.
