hldsupdatetool.exe update problem

That screen i see for about 2 hours. And nothing happens.
Can't find a problem. Firewall and etc are configured well.
Had srcds bhop server on my computer before ob update.
But this is strange..

Does anyone know the reason of such behavior?

Downloaded hldsupdatetool from steampowered, installed it and run as you see in code.

i know that problem, the same happend to me.. Valve can be busy, so sometimes you need to wait to its your turn, so i tryed to reinstall it, and then it was finish in ten minutes or something

Have the same thing on Linux. Sometimes it takes ages to download the files/ updates.

Try updating the updater command line with this:

I'm pretty sure putting . for -dir doesn't work for Windows, and you actually need to specify a path. -retry will allow it not to give up due to connection timeout or overload.

I'm sure that -dir . is not a problem. Just did it ...

The same thing with retry.
The whole day this download was opened in cmd, but when i came from the job - i see the same message with the same number of dots...

Do you have any 3rd party firewalls running on your system/network?

Downloaded it from my friend. Got firewall and etc., but the problem is not in them. Nvm, just got the latest version of hldsupdatetool and downloaded the server. Thanks anyway
