Question
ok well, ive never run a dedicated server before, but i followed directions for setting up a garrys mod dedicated server from the garrys mod wiki, have the folder set up and games downloaded using hldsupdatetool etc. and i end up getting these messages when i use the run srcds bat file from off the garrys mod wiki, this is the bat file by the way:
Code:
@echo off
cd c:\srcds/orangebox
echo Starting game server.
echo Beginning "Garry's Mod"
srcds.exe -console -game garrysmod +map gm_construct +maxplayers 16
echo "Garry's Mod" has now started.
echo It is recommended that you start Server Crash Recovery aswell.

i also have a screenshot of the messages cmd gives,

is it my server.cfg file wrong? or am i missing something else? any help would be appreciated, i try to connect to the server through the connect command,fail. i look in lan games since i read that it will show up for me as a LAN game but its reallly online. NOTICE: this was when i was hooked directly to my modem, with both the router and modem, same results and unable to see or connect to server, yes i have forwarded ports on router 27015-27020 and few others i have read need to be forwarded.

thank you guys for any help!

There is nothing wrong with your server. Those errors seems normal.
However, there is clearly a portforwarding issue or you can trying to connect to the server via the wrong IP address.
Please show a screen shot of your portforwarding.

Please do not PM me for server related help
