#1
Hello! I run two TF2 servers and a DoD source server on a Quad Q9650 3.0 Ghz.
I run fedora and has compiled a 2.6.34 kernel.
I drive with

NO Tickless System (Dynamic Ticks)
YES High Resolution Timer Support
Preemption Model= Preemptible Kernel (Low-Latency Desktop
Timer frequency 100HZ
CPU Frequency scaling ... OFF

I run whit fps_max 300 on Tf2 but not stabel in fps.. And on my dods server i run 100 tic and fps_max 600 and its veryvery stabel.. i check this in munin graph! server slot is 32 on all server.

I have locked each server to each core!

So is it Tf2 there is fps problem whit?

The load on server whit top+1 to see each core is not high.. max 45-50% cpu

On TF2 i run
"sourcemod_version" = "1.3.4"
"metamod_version" = "1.8.3V" ( def. "1.8.3" )

First of all you could try the 2.6.33.5 kernel with zen3 patch. No preemtion, dyntics on 100hz. It helped me a lot running large obox servers with Debian (4 Servers with 32/32 filled on one core i5 750 host without a problem).

But since dods runs smooth it is more likely that servertools/plugins are the cause. You write you are using:
"sourcemod_version" = "1.3.4"
"metamod_version" = "1.8.3V" ( def. "1.8.3" )

But when I look at your output of "sm plugins list" I can see that all basic sm plugins are from 1.3.2-dev. Probably some files got messed or mixed during updates and causing your issue. Just move your current metamod and sourcemod installation to a folder like "old" and make a clean install with the latest stable SM and MMS version.

If that does not help you can try building a new kernel the way i described above.

Hey okay .. try to move up again and again SourceMod. - Zen3 I do not succeed .. It would not boot with it. Are you supposed to run with 2.6.33 kernel and then patch zen3 Or I should have kernel 2.6.33.5 which you are writing from kernel.org? Then patch up zen3?

Zen patches always include the subversion patches for the kernel branch. That is why you need to use the basic version 2.6.33, 2.6.34 and so on, if you want to apply the patch.
