update through ftp?

Hey,can I update my server through a ftp programm like filezilla or not?Or is there a command at the console to write and then quit the server?I cannot access that pc in another way to run the hldsupdatetool.exe so is there an alternative way to do the update?I am on holidays so I can't go see the server from near.The server's OS is Windows XP Professional.

You can't execute commands using a FTP-client like Filezilla. You have to access the server with RDP or SSH.
