Problem with fps

Hi, i am trying a server with 1000 fps and my kernel is linux-source-2.6.18.8

My results:


Are there some form to get better stable fps?

I never try changing the kernel, What kener is better for xen on fps?

Xen? Do you run your server inside a virtual machine? You will probably never reach stable fps that way... You need a dedicated root for this.

and on an cloud server, Can be it more stable? :S

you probably cannot do much about the fps there... can you exchange the kernel (most VPS systems do not allow that)?

or at least you could try changing priorities, see the resched.sh from my howto...
