For just a simple community, 500 is more than enough in my opinion. Not only can your eye not process more than 120fps or so, most consumer level graphics card go much above 150fps or so.

If you are competitive, than yes you can notice a difference, but if you are just a pubber, than 512fps will be more than enough.

In your case probably the bigger problem is that your server is virtualized. That is a very bad idea for game servers as it has a big impact on the realtime performance. If you have any chance of changing the server into a real root server you should do that.

The difference between 500 and 1000 fps is rather small, if present at all. Especially since the OB update I could imagine that any difference is completely gone. maybe even your VPS will be fine if valve finally fixed some interpolation problems, but nobody knows (yet).

Anyway,is there any way to test with hitboxes, latency and all these things visible at some 'perfect' server and my server? I mean the realtime thing and stuff.

looks not as bad as I would have guessed. but without players you cannot really know... if it stays that way when filled, it's a good public server but not a perfect match server.
