SRCDS

Whenever i try to open the server it says 'srcds.exe' is not a recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

The command i used was
srcds.exe -console -game hl2mp +map dm_lockdown -maxplayers 16 -autoupdate

I have hldsupdatetool.

Did you download the game files? First install hldsupdatetool to c:\srcds. Then double-click the hldsupdatetool.exe in c:\srcds. Then make a shortcut to the hldsupdatetool.exe that looks like this:

c:\srcds\hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game hl2mp -dir c:\srcds -verify_all

Then you can try and launch the SRCDS once the game is done downloading.
