If you are good at shell and you have relatively unimpeded access to install extra programs (almost impossible now a days), then you would have an excellent chance to install a game server on your site. Even then though, it is a shared machine and any indication that your "website" is using more than 10-15% of the cpu usage will result in a ban at most hosts. Considering you want TF2 and Garry's Mod, I will say the answer is no, you cannot host on a website. You will definitely want to go to a GSP and order from there.

Don't do it... If you even try your host can terminate your account.
Looking for a game server? Visit fullfrag.com and pick one up as low as $2.50 / mo!

Jeez, I just wanted to know if it was possible! I'll just buy a Game Server when my site generates enough revenue.

yeah, it's possible. Can be difficult, but it's in all their tos that they will cancel your service. As soon as they see that cpu power spike they will investigate

You can NOT run a game server on a webhost.
End of story.

Please do not PM me for server related help
