Huge fps drop

I get huge fps drop on my server
Server OS: Ubuntu server 64bit
Processor: AMD Phenom2 X4 965 3,4Ghz, Quad Core, 8MB, 125W, Socket AM3, Black Edition
Ram: 4 GB
Game(s): Css
Start Up Command: ./srcds_run -console -game cstrike +maxplayers 36 +map de_dust2 -heapsize 2097152 +port 27015 -pingboost 3 -sport 27010 -tickrate 100 +ip 83.176.229.17 -autoupdate &
Admin Mods: Metamod, Sourcemod





When 6 players on server cpu is 100%

First of all Servers with 20slots+ should be run with tick 66.
have you checked if the server also drops without SM and MMS?

The startcommand should be:
./srcds_run -game cstrike +maxplayers 36 +map de_dust2 +port 27015 -tickrate 100 +ip 83.176.229.17 -autoupdate

do not use heapsize.

Check if cpufrequtils are running and remove them if they do:
apt-get remove cpufrequtils

do you have bots on the server? (if so, remove them)
did you try any modifications at the kernel? (if yes, which one? did you follow some tutorial?)
how do you obtain the cpu load?

hm, you can try optimizing the kernel, but I am not sure if this will be the solution here. if you want to give it a try, see my signature...

When i upgrade kernel ´Can I do it via ssh or do I physically sit at the server?

you can do it both ways.

but you will need some rescue system if you don't have physical access. else a simple mistake will lead to big problems :-)
