Buggy Door

Every time someone opens the door in the apartment area in de_inferno it hurts them. Is there away to fix this because it doesnt happen in every server.

What tick rate are you running?

100 tick and suppose to be 1000 fps

From what i remember, if you are running 100tick, some doors might bug. And there is not really any thing todo. (Not sure tho)

hm, try installing zBlock, maybe that helps. but AFAIK the bug with tick 100 and doors is only regarding the speed the door opens with... maybe it's some config setting or plugin?

There is a little command you can throw in your server config to make the doors open at normal speeds @ 100 tickrate... Let me locate it.

Some people suggest
Code:
phys_timescale "1.5"
but this will also increase the movement of other objects ( shooting barrels and such ).

I have not personally tested this, but some people say it works. Probably not the best option for you as it messes up other physics slightly...

I tried everything reinstalling the map, removing my cfg, reinstalling zblock but to no avail. This door still takes hp from you [Image: deinferno0004k.jpg]

OH! Its the sliding door... I thought you were talking about a hinged door. That door has hurt me as well in the past... I never found a fix for it.

try some config provided by some league or so, I guess it's a config setting.

So everything is good now with a fresh install but when i put zblock 4.4 on it the door hurts again. I tried 4.4 and 4.2, 4.4 messes with the door but its fine with 4.2
