Exclamation
Hi,

When I start my server and I go to css, I open the command box and type "connect mylocalip:27015" and it works but if I type "myip:27015" it doesn't work. Sad

Can somebody tell me whats the problem or tell me how to fix this! Big Grin

Thanks!

People on your network can only connect via the internal IP
People outside can only connect via the external IP (I believe)

Disable your firewall(Windows and your anti virus). Make sure your local ip is 192.168.1.6.

Well from what I see DNS is working so check your firewall.

What do you mean with DNS is working..?

@Me!

If canyouseeme.org doesn't say your ports are open, its mostly caused by no/bad firewall/forwarding settings. Try just to forward these ports INDIVIDUALLY:

27015 TCP
27015 UDP
1200 UDP

Add sv_lan 0 to your CMD line before trying to start server. Should fix it.

Please post results.

Yeah I know sharp but I was having this problem for 2 weeks and then adding that simple line made the server run not only through the UDP port but online also.

CountChocula,
As mentioned to you already, multiple times: sv_lan 0 doesn't fix anything.
