SRCDS Problems after LAST UPDATE Feb 2010

Hey,

since last Update i have much problems with the dedicated server:

Problems:

1. no installed plugins visible in HLSW, but it runs (metamod/sourcemod)
2. the server is only started with the srcds_i486, all other files are not in the bin folder!!

all this after the update (no self changes doing on the server). after update the amd optimized and i686 shared libs missed!!

i debugged the server with gdb and they give corrupted UDP info to the tools like HLSW! the UDP packets self seems to be ok, but the stored data for server cvars are incomplete. this is the problem for non visible plugins in HLSW.

i tryed a extra new installation: same problems!

My question: WHY dont install/download the update tool / steam the other binarys like dedicated_amd.so and dedicated_i686.so?

i can run hldsupdatetool again and again, with -verify_all and all tricks, but they dont download the binarys!

the server runs ok, but i need the optimized binarys!

any ideas?

Server OS: openSuse 10.3 64 Bit, 1000 Hz Kernel (also tested with standard kernel)
Processor: Athlon64 5600+ X2 @ 2.8 GHz (standard)

PROBLEMS/BUGS

1. the server starts only with default i486 binary and libs
2. installed metamod and sourcemod every versions are not visible, many cvars missed, but works correctly, rcon replys like "meta version" are ok
3. the server cvar "clientcount" counts only up, not down! have a user joined and left the server, the clientcount stay at 1!
4. the steam update do not download the optimized binarys, same if i do a fresh new installation (with or without metamod and/or plugins)
4. the optimized i686 and amd binarys like "dedicated_amd.so" missed:

I am not absolutely sure, i just looked into my Phenom II server found some i686 files but this were from Counter-Strike: Source. Why are you worried about using the i486 file? I think that DOD:S aren't using i686.so like CSS

Inroducing Orangebox valve removed all binaris exept 486 that one has, or better should have the support for all x86. Still sse2 is not working yet :/

ok, valve, no more words needed! But what is with the clientcount bug?
