Maybe a small server. I wouldn't run a server on it until it has at least 512mb of RAM.

Does it really have 256MB of ram? If so, fat chance. Upgrading the ram will make windows (or any OS) to run more smoothly and thus run a small server. It might not be able to handle TF2 well, but that game were you thinking? Also, what's your bandwidth?

well, this is just my mom's old computer and i was just thinking of wat i could do with it. I hve 30mbps upload download. i want to host a cs;s server for 11 players 100tick
