Fps problem

Hey everyone
Im running Centos x86 64, with two Intel® Xeon® CPU E5345 @ 2.33GHz proccesors (8 proccesors total) and trying to run a css srcds server with +fps_max 600, and it only reaches 333 and stops there.
i tryed unlimiting the fps and still same thing.
Is there something i need to configure inorder for this to work?
