appdatacache.cpp (311) Assertion Failed: !"Implement me"

This bug appeared today. I've even gone so far as to install srcds bare on a completely new Linux box, and it still dies.

I'm guessing its just going to be a matter of time before everyone ends up here.

Any word on a fix, or even if it's acknowledged by Valve?

Specs:

Linux 2.6.27.41-170.2.117.fc10.i686 SMP (Fedora Core 10)
Athlon XP X2 3000+, 2GB RAM
