SRCDS Steam group


Starting L4D2 via SSH

[/i]I am running into an issue with starting my L4D2 server. Below is the error I get.


kevin@games:/usr/local/steam$ sudo ./srcds_run -game left4dead2 -autoupdate +ip 72.9.144.231 -port 27016 +maxplayers 8 +map [i]c1m1_hotel
Auto detecting CPU
Using SSE2 Optimised binary.
Server will auto-restart if there is a crash.
Updating server using Steam.
Checking bootstrapper version ...
Updating Installation
Checking/Installing 'left 4 dead 2 common' version 15


Checking/Installing 'left 4 dead 2 linux dedicated server' version 12

HLDS installation up to date
Unable to find gameinfo.txt. Solutions:

1. Read http://www.valve-erc.com/srcsdk/faq.html#NoGameDir
2. Run vconfig to specify which game you're working on.
3. Add -game <path> on the command line where <path> is the directory that gameinfo.txt is in.
Unable to find gameinfo.txt. Solutions:

Add "-debug" to the ./srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problem

I tried it from the /usr/local/steam/left4dead2/ directory as well and I get this:
