The problem is from Halo 2 Player model pack. It is client side so it can be used to cheat. Evan after I found the cause and removed it players that have this pack can see player positions. The fix for now I guess will be me adding nodraw to the texture for the hud in the halo pack and and adding that .vmt to the server downloads. If I do that I believe it will make the marker invisible and it will override the pack when players are in my server. I did not notice that .vmt earlier as i merged it in my single player folder. I removed my addons folder but that is not where I had it installed. I am glad I mad that mistake because I might not have found out that some players were using that to cheat in my server. I have herd about script enforcement that I also need to look into.

[EDIT] Still not fixed the marker just shows up as a white rectangle now If I apply nodraw to the texture.

There must be a way to stop this from being used in my server.

I also still do not understand how some host can turn this feature or one like it on and off in there server.

There is sv_pure command which essentially means that no modifications client side can be used with your server.

TY for your help. I was wondering if you can use this command on the fly. Like turn it on and off without a server restart. Just wondering won't make much of a difference here. I still need to test and see if the command works for my problem but I am sick and will back to working on it in a few days.

You could try just typing sv_pure 0 or 1 while the server is running and see what happens. I am unsure what exactly the server would do if you change it to sv_pure 1 while there are "unpure" players on the server.

Well it works but... I now cannot use my custom weapons I have added into my Deathmatch Gamemode.

sv_pure is mainly helpful in CS:S or DOD:S cases, for garrysmod, it will be a pain...

Now you said in an earlier post that the arrows were caused by a Halo content pack? Why not remove the pack?

It is not in the sever. It is client side. So anybody that has it installed on there game can cheat in the server and nobody would know the wiser.

You could somehow make it so that its a pain in the ass if they have the arrow to basically force people to uninstall the pack...

Could do what you did before with the texture, except make it huge so it fills their entire screen with "REMOVE Yadaydayda to play"
