My left 4 dead server has been running flawlessly for about 6 months now. Never had any problems with the server, until last night. Started a lobby, got a match going, started the game, made it through the first map of deathtoll. When are team reached the safe room, and i was helping someone up, the server crashes... What's even more odd is that when i restarted the server, and tried to re-connect, it just rejects me.

srcds won't execute past "Director converting 0 out of 4 pills to kits (4 kits already exist)" after the 10 tries are up the server sits there on that line then about 5min. later just quits on it's own:

I'm a little shak'n by this, since the server has been running perfectly like i ran it for the first time, and now all of a sudden it crashes. I started my l4d test server to see if it worked, sure enough same thing above. Tested my Team Fortress 2 server, works like a charm. Even re-installed a fresh left 4 dead server, no modifications what so ever other than the server config. Same thing... I'm most certain i have the proper ports forwarded otherwise the server would not have ran for 6 months, so i'm pretty much stuck at this point as what the problem could be. I've been hosting and putting together servers since css came out, and i can't wrap my head around this. Any input would be most helpful and appreciated.

Is it still working? And you did nothing at all to change it? Weird indeed Big Grin.

Yes, has been working flawlessly since then. Till this day i have no idea what would of caused it. SRCDS has a mind of it's own sometimes Smile
