Wow i just spent like an hour making a nice thread with all the details and I can't post it cause some shitty plugin considers it spam. How do I post my post? I'll save the shit into a txt file but honestly it was pretty aggravating to get all that info and stuff as per your request and then I can't even post it.

Edit: I had to screw up all the links and pictures to get the post to not be spam so remove the extra /'s added into links and pics for the details, all info 2 posts below.

Ram: Currently 4Gb, however another 4 was ordered a few days ago. Corsair ddr2 800
Games: Its running 3 TF2, 1 CSS, 1 GMOD, 1 L4D, 1 L4D2, and 2 SAMP servers. The issues are with L4D, L4D2, and TF2

    server was down for maybe a week but has run prior to 12/26 despite it being the earliest date in the service log file.

  • Refuses to use port 27023, instead uses 27024, randomly chooses ports if others are defined.
  • always empty

  • Picks random ports if not set to 27024, will open on 27024 if defined
I had a friend who knows about this stuff on the server, and he added the +port - port +hostport -hostport stuff I'm not sure
what he was trying to achieve there but rather than edit it out i figured id give you guys all the current info and await further
instruction and for you to correct my flaws. Please help soon I'll be waiting excitedly for answers. It took a long time to get all the info you guys need so please give me all the info i need in your replies be very detailed and explanatory if you would be so kind so i understand how and why.

I self raped all my links and pics so now itl be harder for the reader to understand but at least i can post it.

I think it might have been either your name, or the length of the post, but oh well.

It looks like your server wants to rebel against Steam Toungue

Make sure ports 27000-27040 UDP/TCP are open, and also open 1200 UDP/TCP (because it has something to do with Steam). Also check your firewall to make sure its ok.

Please, I am puzzled by this issue and I can't imagine a better source for the answer I seek. Ports are set as directed and all other settings, right or wrong, are posted above. Even if you can't answer one question, there are several in my previous post.

Also I added -ip 192.168.1.4 to my L4D launch parameters, and it seems to work as it will get players now, but the other errors still stand.

2 separate machines. I'm on a q9650 with 4gb or ddr2 1066, server is on a q6600 with 8gb of ddr2 800. They both share an internet connection as shown in the above posts.

Well i know you didn't answer any of my previous issues but I've got some more issues for you to not help with while i check here everyday for no reason.

I've now 3 Idle server. ass with the issues mentioned above that no one knows anything about.

Idle one crashes like every 8 hours after it gets over like 25 people
It uses a custom map and a series of plugins

Idle two uses the basic achievement idle map and no plugins. It never crashes

Idle 3 uses the same simple map as above, but also uses the plugins from idle 1.

In an attempt to isolate crashes, I left the custom map on idle 1 but disabled the plugins (renamed the addons folder). I assumed if idle one crashed, the map was the problem, and if idle 3 crashed, the plugins were the problem. Well i just woke up to see that BOTH idle 1 and 3 had crashed. So in conclusion i was inable to determine if it was either the map or the plugins, cause both servers crashed. Meanwhile idle 2 is STILL running strong. How can i determine what causes the issues?

Also still need help with everything from the first posts so this is like the 5th bump im like a volleyball player here. Can you at least fix the obvious mistakes?

So what does all this mean, these new errors today, and what about the 50 other questions in this /thread

edit 1: Idle 1 no longer shows up on the master server list since these errors in this post occured, despite reboots and all that. everything looks fine in the console window on the server but I can't find it with steam or add it to favorites D: It was fine yesterday when i went to sleep.

edit 2: all my tf2 servers have lost connection to steam at this time, the second idle reads

what changes over night that causes these new errors? also the old errors still persist.

ALSO
Update all plugins.
I'm not sure where you got those commands from, but many of the commands you were using haven't worked since HL1 was first released. Some of those commands didn't even exist.
Also, your bandwidth wont support all those servers.
