Gmod Server Not Showing Up On Main List

Hi

I Have A Problem With My Server Not Showing Up On The Server List.

When I search on play multiplayer my server isn't on the main list but only on the LAN. I've used the HLSW app and my server shows up,yet even though the server is on internet the location says its LAN (if that matters). I was able to get my friend to connect to the server just fine and I can enter fine.I have port forwarded the correct things (I Think...)
If you could help me with this problem I would appreciate it

Sometimes the master servers don't like game servers that incur a NAT. ( Go through a home router )

You will only see the server on the LAN. Others will be able to see it on the main internet list.

Then how come not many people join.sure mayby 1hour to 2 hours might be enough but there been nothing for like 6 hours.also if my friends able to see it on LAN should he also be able to see it on the main servers list?

Only you can see it on the LAN, because it is in your network. Tell your friends to join using your external IP, not your local one. If anyone connects that you didn't give your external IP to, that usually means they join off the Server listing.
