Web Monitoring Tools
#1
Hello der,

I was just wondering if there r some tools that will allow me to monitor my source server from a website. Not just displaying the cvars, players, and info like that, I mean like interact with the console (IE type commands). The info like i listed above would be an awesome bonus, though. I just want to be able to control the server's console. I have a Garry's Mod server, but I assume the script r be universal because it uses the same server source (duh).

EDIT: Is there something that will let users on my website text-chat with the people in the game? That would be pretty pwn.

Thanks for the help,
King John.

I tested out hlsw, but it seemed rather useless for my case.
can it really control a server like restart maps, kick players from a web UI? And does it have full TF2 support?

It seemed to me like a server browser only...

Once you put in the rcon password you have full control over the server.

Please do not PM me for server related help

Think HLSW got to much stuff in it, and the interface is filled with s***.

I disagree. If you set it to the mode you want and remove some of the toolbars, it is extremely useful.

Also, this thread kinda died out until URDead2 brought it back, so we should probably leave it here untouched.

Yeah, new users have no right to comment on week-old threads.

I'm beginning to think srcds should change it's subname to "home of the anal-retentive forum nazis"
