Hello,
I run a small srcds server on a Windows computer. This computer also has Steam on it. However, when I'm running srcds, it interferes with Steam and says I'm running a "Steam application" so I can't exit out of Steam. Is there anyway I can stop Steam from seeing srcds as a Steam Application?

Are you running it from the dedicated server tool?

More server specs, how are you launching the server?
What is your start up command.

The way you're doing it it shouldn't interfere with Steam. Are you sure there's not another process that is interfering?

When you run a SRCDS server on a computer running Steam, they do "hook together" even without trying. You can try booting the server before running steam...
