Why people from another countries have so high ping in my server? How I can avoid that?

Ping is the amount of time it takes to get from one point on the internet to another. Pings can be raised by slower bandwidth or long distance between 2 places, or both. There is not much you can do to lower pings.

Ok thx anyway. All players all always complaining about the ping on my server in matches. And when we check their server ping its like same. I've seen that it doesn't lag at all they always complais when they are losing.

I would never host a match server from a home internet connection, because they are right. Pings over 250 can affect gameplay radically.

only way to host a server from home is you would need a 50 mb line download and 20 mb upload and that would work for a 18 slot server other than that i would recommend renting a game server there perty cheap now days

Actually, 20mbps upload could hold a lot more than 18 slots, even 100tick and 1000fps

But you are right, renting is defiantly more valuable, especially when you take into consideration the resources GSP's buy bulk to deliver to the customer.

the reason i say that is so you still have band with to use with out disruping the game server

Bottom line, don't plan to host good game servers from home.

There really is no way to fix this. Having the Server on a fast connection high-tier connect helps, but it also depends on the other clients and their connection. If you are in the US, don't expect low pings from over seas. As speeds increase they tend to get "better," but they will always been high.

(Side Story: Back during the last TFC championships the US team didn't do well because all the servers where over seas (since most teams were over seas). The US medics kept missing their conc jumps... It was very embarrassing and a game breaker.)

don't confuse ping and bandwidth. there is no way to compensate a bad ping with a high bandwidth (unless to low bandwidth directly causes the ping - usually accompanied with loss then). home connections are not so well connected to the various backbones. so your friends might have a good ping if they are nearby (and maybe even use the same provider), but others will have terrible pings. no way around it unless moving to a well connected data center.
