TF2 TERABLE LAG! My ping is 900+ and my server is right next to me!

Well I kinda lied a little, its not really lag its the CPU but it shows up as lag. the server process goes into "sleep mode" and there seems to be nothing i can do about it. I NEED HELP! (and yes that is REALLY MY PING!)

what do you mean with "sleep mode"? ps, top etc. will virtually always show the majority of processes in sleep mode. the system can have only as many processes running as it has cpus, one of the processes will always be top/ps/etc., so you have really to be lucky to find your server process in running state... that's not a problem.

how many fps does your server run with? can you post your complete server config?

Please post your 'ps aux' command.
