I think srcdsfpsboost is just a little program that starts windows using the high-res timer just like running media player classic or similar

So basically I know L4D2 server is capped at 30fps, however the windows server seems to insist on staying at 21.(something) fps when players have joined. Is this normal, and is there anyway of boosting up to the max allowed ? (or would it even matter? )!
