Odd Server Crashes (Please help!)
#1
I'm experiencing an odd issue with my Linux Counter-Strike: Source server running on CentOS, Kernel 2.6.

The server runs perfect besides the fact it will ALWAYS crash on map change if the nextmap is de_inferno. This is the stranger part, when server comes back up, I can set the map to de_inferno and it loads just fine, BUT no matter what the nextmap is, the server will ALWAYS crash on map changing coming out of de_inferno. I do not have this issue with any other map. I verified the integrity of all files and I've tried removing all plugins, etc and nothing has helped. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

have you tried deleting inferno and all files associated with it (.txt, .nav, .ain, etc.)?

I know this isn't an issue with the map itself, but I think it has something to do with the fact the map is more "intense" and uses more resources than other maps. This crash actully happened a few times over this week when changing to cs_assault which is somewhat intensive. Any idea what would cause a server to crash while changing to/from an intensive map?

To be (an admin), or not to be (an admin), that is the Question.
