Question 
Hi,
Following Specs :-
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ (Thats Dual core 3ghz)
ASUS M2NPV-VM
1GB x 2 = 2 GB ram

I am trying to aim 70-75 slots of cs 1.6 servers only (no other game type)
In brief 12 x 3 = 36 slots per core divided among 3 servers
Now my FPS requirement is 300 or 500 (if my machine cant do it STABLE 500 then i would stay with 300 else 500 is the way to go)

How should i go about it . . . I am interested in debian.
Currently i can make it go 1000fps unstable (stays 1000fps 6 out of 10 times; rest 4 times fluctuates to a little more than 800).
Please suggest the kernel version and usage of RT patch and any other setting i may have to change.

Darn !
Anyways i will try doing 2 stable 500 fps servers per core @ rt kernel.

But SERIOUSLY !! ?? 3 servers per core is too much ? (If not a big pain could you please explain what made you write that heart breaking sentence)

depends on your quality goal of course... for medium quality public servers 3 or even more might be ok, for high-end war servers you might want to run only one per core and even keep one core free on that machine (that's the upper limit, running less doesn't make much sense).

and btw: rt kernel alone does not help you much. you need to set the correct scheduling for the servers *and* for the hrtimer softirqs for a good fps stability.

Hey,
What if i am aiming at providing 3 Clan Servers per core 500 FPS.
I was not able to get stable 500 FPS Using the fragaholics tutorial.
Do you have any other ideas ?
