Problem with ports

Currently using the following ports for some Left 4 Dead and TF2 Servers.

TF2 - 27000
L4D - 27001
L4D - 27002
L4D - 27003
L4D - 27004
L4D - 27010?

Notice the pattern I tried to keep, for the server that should be on port 27005, it uses 27010 instead. Why would this happen? It also does it for some other ports too. I have 27005 in the command line, but when the server starts it's on port 27010.

27005 is the client port.

Could you suggest a row of ports that wouldn't be in use?

Just use like 27015, 27025, 27035, 27045 and add addionally 10ports.
