Free sv_downloadurl in the UK/EU

Hey guys,
I have found a free sv_downloadurl host!! http://www.ukgame.com/redirect/ I don't really recommend this to be used with servers in the US because host is miles away  Enjoy

do u think the latency really does matter for a DL host? i didnt played arround with fastdls which are miles away yet.. but idk if its really that hard..
but i dont know ukgame actually.. and i dont understand why their hosting this for free either.. but my gut instinct usally says: pay attention if youre gettin something for free and dont know the person who endows.. so my first thought was.. maybe they try to scam or idk.. so like i said b4.. idk ukgame.. and i dont wanne judge about their reasons.. hopefully its just a good advertisement

Latency doesn't matter with HTTP downloads unless it gets in the 6000ms but then that would be something to do with the line and you wouldn't have good speeds anyway.

LOL, I dont work for ukgame, I'm just advertising fastdl which is for free so people who cant afford webservers can use it. At the bottom of the site you should be able to see the company number. I still dont get it, why would ukgame want to steal maps on your server???? have you got your steam user and passwords in the server files?? I have tried it myself, basically the first download will be slow because it will get the uncompressed requested file and then compress it on fly. Once it has been compressed it stays on the cache so it can be downloaded at full speed. Its not a shared fastdl hosting. Its basically your own files which gets compressed etc. This is really smart as you dont have to upload the compressed files to the webserver separately. I have tried most US webhosts and they didn't work well as fastDL hosts, the transfers were slow. If this works out great for you then by all means use it

UKGame?. The same site that treated a client like shit, then threatened to take legal action against me (I was not the client) because I was defending the client but I was spreading "False information" and when I asked for them to give me the false information they refused?.
UKGame is a horrible GSP - maybe not for the actual servers, but the staff there is frankly poor. If anyone is interested in me giving them more information about what happened between me and them, give me a PM.

lol.. i didnt wanted to offned u or ukgame.. but seriously.. i dont see the reason why they host fastdl for free.. and many other hoster take cash 4 it ;]
