counter-strike source Linux Server Lag
#1
I just setup my linux server to run css. This is my first css linux server BTW. My server is a VPS. It runs everything else flawlessly. I am looking for some config options or opinions about how to get rid of the css lag. My friends complain of alot of lag when playing with even like 10 people or less.

Any ideas?

I am running the basic package with mani mod installed. Some of the options like rounds and things have diff values, but the structure is the same.

Here is my server.cfg:

Code:
// server name
hostname "Server Name Here"

// rcon passsword
rcon_password "password here"

// server cvars

Ok, my server is a Virtual Private Server. That means that it runs under Virtuozzo and is allocated a certain percentage of a server. The core server is like a quad xeon. I am allocated like 400GB bandwidth per month. My ping on my server is like 25 in any game. My server comes from servint.com. The hw specs are difficult to post because you get a guarnteed amount of stuff and a burstable amount.

I have run several other games and apps without a problem.
