My time is ticking wayyyy too fast?
#1
Hey guys, hopefully someone has seen this problem before. When I join my server the time counts down WAYYY too fast (approx 4x as fast as it should be). This results in a "speedy" like playing environment where guns fire and reload 4x as fast as they should. I have tried looking for some sort of command in my config files that would have this effect, but to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions?

I am running my server on Ubuntu with Metamod and Mani's going on.

Thanks in advance fellas,

is the system clock running normal? e.g. check with the "date" command.

What plugins do you have?

Metamod and Mani's AP. This is my first time running SRCDS on Linux. My XP machine worked fine, the only difference between this and my XP server is I used Metamod to attach MAP instead of making MAP a standalone application. I wonder if it has anything to do with that?

Thanks for the responses guys, I appreciate it!

Just download the newest version available. And then just install over it(overwrite current files).

Well, I just installed metamod and mani's 2 days ago or so. So I am pretty sure they are the most current?

Okay. It is the newest version. Try disable all plugins and give it a shot.

How do I go about disabling them? I tried commenting out "exec mani_server.cfg" and "exec mani_quake_sounds.cfg" in the server.cfg but for some reason it still executes them both when I execute the server?

Delete the .vdf files.(/cstrike/addons)

Got ya, so after I do that, restart the server than the addons should be toast? And maybe after I remake the .vdf file it will function properly.. Thanks realchamp, you the man! I will take a look at it when I get home from work today.
