TF2 Server Help
#1
I came accross an interesting problem. I am helping a friend out with his server and everything seems to be in order, the server is up, people can join.

The problem I came accross is that no matter what I do metamod/sm mod/ beetle mod will not work.

I pulled my hair out over this till I noticed the motd wasnt working either.

He has the server on a dedicated box and I am logging on using TCadmin and FTP.

When I use TCAdmin and edit the "default server.cfg" on their control pannel it updates the server name, but when I use the server.cfg via FTP nothing.

Any ideas?

I guess so, I start it up and then after 5 or 10 min its set back to stop. During the 5 - 10 min I can't connect to the server or find it on the master list.

There are no errors in the SRCDS console either
