Hacked?

Hey,
So I got a server up and running, people are joining with no problem. Everything went fine until someone called Milhouse (or something) joined. My friend (was an admin) gave some people a weapon_m3 through mani mod. Then that milhouse guy gave himself a m3. He said: 'am i admin???'.
He kicked everyone but me because I had immunity. I tried to go to client options but somehow that menu was gone. Or in a hurry to look for the client options I pressed the wrong numbers . He said: 'i'm not a hacker' and things like that but erhh, I couldn't quite believe him. I typed ma_admins in console to see his client name. It was client_01.

I managed to kick him through RCON. He kept rejoining. After a while he rejoined with a blank name (It said: ' has joined the server'). Probably because he understood that I kicked him through Rcon and knew writing rcon_kick (blankspace) wouldn't kick him. SO I opened the mani menu and banned him by steamid (permanently ofcourse).

So, yeah, can anyone tell me what just happened? Did he use an exploit orsomething? How can I prevent it from happening again? Did it had to do with Mani? Or with something else?

I run eventscript and mani mod on my Counter-strike source server. The Rcon isn't a very simple one and chances are that I accidently left sv_cheats on 1. But leaving sv_cheats on 1 doesn't really matter... right?

He used an exploit. Or it was an actual admin.

Well it wasn't an admin, there are only 2 admins which is my friend and myself.

Okay. Then it is obviously he is using an exploit or just guessed your RCon password.

There is an rcon exploit for mani that uses changelevel and he can add himself as admin. I would recommend either getting kigens anti cheat with sourcemod, without the admin and keep mani, or just remove mani and use sourcemod with kac

Yeah.
Eventscripts is okay. I use it on my server together with SourceMod.
