i think you should be fine what you currently have

1GB ram is fine. a server typically takes about 200 MB ram (w/o plugins). the cpu will be the limit, but should be ok for 1 server.

i spammed the stats i see it sometimes is about 900, then its mega dropping to 433, aka its not stable at all, thats not good i think?

did u already build a custom kernel? if not just take a look at behaartesetwas signature ( http://wiki.fragaholics.de/)

there is a howto for a custom RT linux kernel.. and some other tweaks.. just take a look..

but i think this is for advanced users only..

a new kernel and some tweaks should fix ur drops..

The root account is always created, use the username root and the password that you ususally give to edit settings.
